New Florida CAM licences have roughly doubled since 2019

The profession managing Florida's associations is being re-staffed, and the register shows it a year at a time.

1,104 people first licensed as community association managers in Florida in 2019. In 2025 it was 2,179, about 2.0 times as many, and 1,391 are already recorded for 2026.

Florida only, and that is a hard limit rather than a starting point. Only seven or eight states license community association managers at all, and Nevada publishes no bulk file. Every figure on this page is Florida, retrieved from the state's own weekly extract. Nothing here is a national number.

First-time individual licences, by year

The final point is the current year and is incomplete, which is why it turns down; it is a collection artefact rather than a fall in entry. The climb before it is steady rather than a single step, which is what makes it look like sustained demand for managers rather than a one-off regulatory event.

Firms are growing too, from a much smaller base

New firm licences: 116 in 2023, 160 in 2024, 208 in 2025. The whole firm population is 1,994 against 23,899 individuals, so a single new firm represents a much larger share of its category than a single new manager does of hers.

What this cannot tell you. A first licence is a first licence on that record. Someone returning after a lapse, or moving into Florida from another state, looks identical to a genuine new entrant. The register does not distinguish them and neither does this page.
